As a Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our clients, the public, and our employees. This position involves designing, setting up, and maintaining temporary traffic control in work zones, supervising flaggers, and effectively communicating with on-site client representatives. We are looking for individuals who possess a good attitude and can work well both independently and as part of a team. Additionally, candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening as part of our commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
* Design and set up temporary traffic control in work zones.
* Maintain traffic control setups throughout the duration of projects.
* Supervise flaggers and ensure they are following safety protocols.
* Collaborate with construction crews to facilitate smooth operations while maintaining safety protocols.
* Experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of site safety protocols.
* Ability to effectively communicate with team members and the public regarding traffic control measures.
* Strong observational skills to identify potential hazards or issues in real-time.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Communicate effectively with on-site client representatives regarding project needs and updates.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
* Provide guidance and support to team members as needed.
Requirements
· Valid Driver's License is required.
· TCS Certificate is required.
· Experience in paving is preferred.
· Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
