Delivery Specialist
Location: Farmers Branch, TX | Monday–Friday | Full-Time
Hours: Minimum 40 per week
At Precision Appliance Leasing, our Delivery Specialist plays a critical, front-line role in the customer experience and daily operations. As a representative of our company, this individual is responsible not only for the safe and timely delivery of appliances but also for maintaining the highest level of service excellence with every interaction. We are seeking a professional, service-oriented, and physically capable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates with confidence, and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver, install, and test washer/dryer units in residential multi-family communities and single-family homes
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with onsite property management teams on a daily basis
- Proactively handle challenging delivery scenarios, including those involving non-payment or no prior customer communication
- Safely load, unload, and transport heavy appliances—must be capable of meeting the physical demands of the job in all weather conditions
- Ensure route efficiency through advanced planning and time management
- Execute service calls and product returns, including verification and testing of all units
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the delivery truck
- Utilize internal software for accurate data entry and job tracking
- Communicate effectively with management regarding field updates or delivery issues
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to navigate difficult conversations with professionalism
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy appliances, including stair carries
- Dependable, with a demonstrated record of excellent attendance and punctuality
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn internal software platforms and delivery tracking systems
- Must be able to follow route plans and adjust in real-time for efficiency and customer needs
- Customer service or field delivery experience preferred
