This Grooming position is a cat grooming position, if you have not groomed cats must be willing to try to be trained.
Responsibilities
- Perform pet grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping with precision and care
- Handle animals gently and confidently, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, adhering to hygiene standards and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide recommendations
- Assist with animal handling and restraint during grooming procedures to ensure safety for pets and staff
- Support pet care routines such as brushing, drying, and ear cleaning as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and excellent customer service experience

Experience
- Prior pet grooming experience with 2+years of grooming.
- Knowledge of dog training techniques and dog handling skills to manage different temperaments effectively
- Veterinary experience or background as a veterinary technician or assistant is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with animal health and behavior
- Experience working with animals such as dogs or cats, including animal restraint and handling techniques
- Customer service experience that highlights your ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with pet owners
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, including lifting pets or equipment safely
- Familiarity with kennel operations or pet sitting services is advantageous for understanding comprehensive pet care needs
