Job Title: Provider Auditor Educator

Addison Group is partnering with a leading healthcare organization seeking a Provider Auditor Educator to support coding quality, documentation improvement, and provider education initiatives. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for an experienced coding professional who enjoys working directly with physicians and clinical staff to improve documentation accuracy, coding compliance, and reimbursement outcomes.
The Provider Auditor Educator will conduct professional fee coding audits, deliver provider-focused education, and serve as a trusted resource on coding and documentation best practices. This individual will collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, coding teams, and operational leaders to improve compliance and ensure adherence to regulatory and payer guidelines.
- Perform professional fee coding audits and documentation reviews across multiple specialties.
- Analyze audit findings and provide clear, actionable recommendations for coding and documentation improvement.
- Deliver one-on-one and group education sessions to physicians, APPs, residents, and clinical staff.
- Coach providers on Evaluation & Management (E&M) documentation requirements and specialty-specific coding guidelines.
- Partner with coding, billing, and compliance teams to resolve coding and documentation concerns.
- Develop educational materials, presentations, and training programs to support ongoing compliance initiatives.
- Monitor coding trends, regulatory updates, and payer requirements to ensure organizational compliance.
- Assist with documentation improvement projects and other coding quality initiatives as assigned.
- 5–8+ years of experience in professional fee coding audits and provider education.
- Strong background in E&M coding.
- Proven ability to educate and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- CPC or CCS-P certification required.
- Experience conducting physician audits strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
- Fully remote position.
- Standard Monday–Friday business schedule.

- Reporting into coding leadership within the professional billing compliance team.
