Extra Mile Recovery is growing!
Extra Mile Recovery is a residential addiction treatment program for men and women with gender specific locations. This facility is for men and located just outside of Tupelo, MS in Mantachie. We are a JCAHO accredited 12-step based program that focuses on healing from the inside out. Our program incorporates 12 step immersion with intensive clinical therapy while specializing in chronic relapse via adaptive information processing and trauma therapy utilizing EMDR and other modalities. Position Title: LPC LPSW Addiction Therapist
*supervisor preferred*
Summary/Objective
The Primary Therapist is responsible for milieu management and program activities under the direction of the Clinical Director. Provide supervision of interns if assigned. Facilitate the 12-Core Functions of Counseling.
Responsibilities To Include, But Not Limited To The Following
-Facilitate therapeutic services to patients served
-Monitor immediate therapeutic services provided by other staff
-Work with Clinical Director to provide a consistent presentation of Extra Mile Recovery’s Philosophy of Addiction Treatment
-All documentation must adhere to Extra Mile Recovery’s Policy and Procedures
-Initiate and provide family counseling
-Work with Executive Director to maintain JCAHO and Department of Mental Health Accreditations
-Adhere to HIPAA Standards
Qualifications
-Master’s Degree in behavioral science required. State License or eligible preferred.
-EMDR Trained
-2 years of experience in the substance abuse field
-Must be able to work rotating holiday schedule/flexible hours
-Minimum of one-year non-abusive use of substances is required
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
