Travel RN Case Manager
Location: Mattoon, IL
Position: Travel Registered Nurse – Case Manager
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Pay- $2350 to $2500
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Shift: Days
No weekends, no on-call, and no major holidays
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Travel RN Case Manager for a 13-week assignment at a respected acute care hospital in Mattoon, Illinois. The Case Manager will coordinate patient care, discharge planning, and utilization management across inpatient units, the Emergency Department, and overflow units.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage patient care throughout hospitalization.
- Perform utilization review and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support patients and families throughout the care continuum.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience.
- At least 3 years of inpatient Case Management experience.
- Recent hospital Case Management experience required.
- Current BLS certification.
- Prior travel nursing experience required.
- Must have a permanent residence more than 50 miles from the facility (travel position only).
Assignment Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Dates: Immediate openings and September 28 start available
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift: Days (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
- Floating: Not required
- Scrubs: Black scrubs or business casual
