Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for running, terminating, and testing low voltage cabling in a commercial environment. Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Overtime: Potential overtime opportunities available after the first two weeks of employment.
Duties
- Pull, route, and secure low voltage cabling in commercial facilities.
- Terminate Cat5e, Cat6, and other low voltage cables according to project specifications.
- Install and dress cables along cable trays, J-hooks, and designated pathways.
- Label, organize, and maintain cable infrastructure to ensure clean and professional installations.
- Perform continuity testing and basic troubleshooting of installed cabling systems.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, floor plans, and cable schedules.
- Assist with installation of telecommunications, data, and network infrastructure equipment.
- Maintain compliance with all job site safety requirements and company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and team members regarding project progress.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Requirements
- OSHA 10 Certification (Required)
- Lift Certification (Required)
- Previous experience running and terminating low voltage cabling in commercial environments preferred.
- Familiarity with structured cabling systems, including Cat5e and Cat6 cabling.
- Ability to use hand tools and basic testing equipment safely and effectively.
- Ability to work on lifts and follow all site-specific safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment as needed throughout the workday.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
