Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Technician to join our Wafer Grinding and Dicing Services team. This position primarily supports silicon wafer grinding operations, including wafer mounting and de-mounting, equipment operation, inspection, and process documentation in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Mount silicon wafers onto grinding tape and de-mount wafers after processing.
- Operate wafer grinding equipment following established procedures and work instructions.
- Perform visual inspections of wafers using microscopes and other inspection tools.
- Handle fragile semiconductor materials with care to prevent damage or contamination.
- Follow detailed manufacturing procedures, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Complete production records and process documentation accurately.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any abnormalities or maintenance concerns.
- Maintain cleanroom standards and follow all contamination control procedures.
- Support wafer dicing and other semiconductor processing operations as needed.
- Assist with inventory management, material tracking, and general production activities.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and quality requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
- Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced R&D environment
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Preferred
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
- Semiconductor, wafer processing, electronics manufacturing, or precision manufacturing experience.
- Experience using microscopes for inspection.
- Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment.
