Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. Duties
- Develop detailed structural designs using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other CAD software to create precise drawings and models.
- Perform structural analysis and system design utilizing FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools and Mathcad to evaluate load capacities and material performance.
- Coordinate project scheduling and management activities to ensure timely completion of deliverables while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Conduct geotechnical assessments and integrate findings into structural plans, leveraging GIS data for site analysis.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, specifications, and documentation through technical writing to communicate design intent clearly.
- Collaborate with project engineers, construction teams, and clients to oversee project execution from conception through construction phases.
- Utilize Bluebeam for efficient review, markup, and sharing of project documents during design and construction processes.
Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other CAD drafting tools for accurate modeling and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination.
- Experience with FEA software for structural analysis and system design validation.
- Familiarity with geotechnical engineering concepts, civil engineering practices, and construction procedures.
- Ability to interpret GIS data for site assessment and planning purposes.
- Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports, specifications, and project documentation.
- Skilled in project engineering tasks such as scope definition, risk assessment, and quality control.
