What You'll Do
As a Dishwasher at the Golf Club of Georgia, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization, enabling the kitchen to operate smoothly and execute high-quality dining experiences.

FLSA Status: Non Exempt
Job Summary
Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment. Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized. Keep the Kitchen neat, clean and organized during shift. Help keep the loading dock area neat, clean and organized on the opening, closing trash runs.
Job Tasks (including but not limited to)

Checks all chemicals at beginning of shift to ensure there is enough product.

Sets up 4 compartment sink.

Stocks all paper towels and soap dispensers in the kitchen.

Loads, runs and unloads dish machine.

Runs all of the dishes that fit in dishwasher through at 180 degrees.

Washes, rinses and sanitizes all pots and pans in 3 compartment sink that cannot fit in dishwasher machine.

Keeps the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.

Runs cutting boards through the dishwasher vertically (standing up) for proper drainage.

Changes the water in the dish machine at set times to ensure that all glassware, silverware and plates are kept clean.

Monitors dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.

Washes and stores all tableware and kitchenware in proper place, with the handles up on all silverware to ensure that they stay sanitary.

Keeps dish room clean and organized.

Maintains adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.

Bags and hauls all cardboard and trash to dumpster area at designated times.
-
Handles tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.

Keeps the broken glass bucket in the set area and makes sure that is dumped on a regula rbasis.

Is available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant managers or immediate supervisor.

Cleans food preparation and production areas as required.

Assists with food preparation when asked by a manager, making sure that proper health department codes are followed.
Education/Experience

High School Diploma or GED
-
No previous restaurant experience required.
Physical Requirements

Frequent bending, stooping, pulling, lifting

Continuous standing, walking and repetitive hand motions.

Heat sensitive environment.

Must be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time.

Must be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).

Must be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds, up to 30times per shift.
