Job Title: Lab Technician 1

About the Role
We are hiring an Entry-Level Lab Technician 1 to support daily laboratory operations, sample processing, documentation, and quality activities.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with 0–2 years of laboratory, sample handling, quality control, or related experience. Relevant experience is helpful but not required.
What You'll Do
- Retrieve and prepare samples for laboratory testing.
- Perform sample preparation, including aliquoting, reagent preparation, bottling, concentration preparation, separation, sonication, and liquid rack setup.
- Label, track, and organize samples accurately.
- Enter sample information into the LIMS system.
- Complete laboratory records, bench sheets, logbooks, and other documentation.
- Perform laboratory testing accurately and within required turnaround times.
- Verify and document test results.
- Maintain clean and organized laboratory areas.
- Wash laboratory glassware and prepare supplies for upcoming testing.
- Stock and maintain laboratory supplies.
- Follow SOPs, quality procedures, laboratory methods, and safety requirements.
- Identify discrepancies, non-conformances, and process issues and report them to the appropriate supervisor.
- Work effectively with laboratory staff and other departments.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 0–2 years of laboratory or related experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and testing.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Basic computer and data-entry skills.
- Ability to accurately document and maintain records.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, adaptable attitude.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
