Job Description:
We are hiring a Resident Care Director at The Newbury of Brookline to manage and direct a high-quality Assisted Living Program providing superior care services delivered with compassion. As a motivational leader this individual supervises and coordinates resident assessments, medications, safety procedures, and department budgets.
What will I do every day?

Complete accurate and regular resident assessments to determine appropriate level of care

Maintain all resident information, files, and reports

Supervise and administer all resident medications

Maintain emergency plans and meet all safety requirements

Coordinate care provided by third parties

Manage Assisted Living budget and expenses

Forecast and schedule necessary levels of staffing to ensure quality of care

Conduct departmental planning and forecasting

Manage and improve resident and family satisfaction
What will I need to be successful in this role?

A passion for excellence
-
Three to five years of supervisory experience
-
LPN, LVN, or RN preferred
-
BS degree in human services, psychology, nursing, or related fields
-
Experience in working with seniors preferred
-
Experience as a Wellness Director, Resident Care Director or Assisted Living Director preferred
