Job Description:
We are seeking a Budget & Financial Manager to join our team in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee budget planning and processes.
- Review and approve individual/team budget requests.
- Allocate funds to different functions, projects, individuals, etc.
- Analyze budget spending.
- Optimize budgets based on spend data and performance.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience:
- Experience with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (Navy ERP), the Program Budget Information System (PBIS), and the Standardized Accounting and Reporting System (STARS)
- Experience managing and executing at least three of the following appropriations: O&MN, RDT&EN, OPN, SCN funds (or other service equivalent funds)
Education:
- 15+ years of experience in management and execution of DoD budgets
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or financial area
