Job Description:
This role will support an active battery development project, focusing on both design and hands-on lab work. Day-to-day responsibilities include CAD design in Onshape (2D and 3D), building source packages for components, conducting component-level testing in the lab, and supporting full battery pack builds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design high voltage battery components, including enclosures, components, and bus bars
- Perform CAD work in Onshape (2D and 3D modeling)
- Develop and manage component source packages
- Conduct component-level testing in a lab environment
- Support full battery pack builds and integration efforts
Required Experience:
- Mechanical engineering background
- Strong CAD experience, ideally with Onshape (SolidWorks or similar also considered)
Preferred / Standout Experience:
- Hands-on lab experience in a professional setting
Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
