Summary
We are seeking a passionate Dog Daycare Attendant/ Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the well-being and happiness of dogs in our care while upholding our commitment to high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime and activities.
- Provide basic training and behavioral guidance to dogs as needed.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the daycare environment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of dogs, reporting any concerns to management.
- Assist with feeding, watering, and administering medications as required.
- Maintain accurate records of dog activities and incidents.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and behaviors.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere for both pets and staff.
- Qualifications
- Understanding of canine behavior and training techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physical capability to lift heavy objects as needed (up to 50 lbs).
- Previous kennel or pet care experience is a plus.
High School degree or GED required.
