Santiago & Friends Family Center for Autism, a program of Latino Leadership, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality educational and therapeutic services for children with autism and developmental disabilities.
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dedicated Education Professional to join our growing team in Titusville, Florida. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about special education, autism services, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families.
Position Details
Location: Titusville, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Student Instruction Block: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
What You’ll Do
- Provide direct instruction in a small-group classroom serving students with autism and developmental disabilities
- Develop individualized lesson plans based on each student’s educational goals
- Maintain attendance records and track student progress consistently
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student development and progress
- Collect and document behavioral and academic data accurately
- Collaborate with supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to align educational and behavioral goals
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
- Maintain a structured, safe, and supportive classroom environment
- Support each student’s academic, communication, and social development through individualized instruction
- Other duties as assigned
Growth Opportunities
For team members pursuing careers in Applied Behavior Analysis, additional professional development opportunities may be available, including supervised training experiences, assessment support, treatment planning, and program development alongside experienced BCBAs.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (teaching certification not required)
OR
- Associate degree with active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
Preferred
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
