Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Structural Steel / Miscellaneous Metals Fabricator / Erector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing structural steel and miscellaneous metal components for a variety of construction projects. Your expertise in welding, blueprint reading, and metal fabrication will ensure that projects are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Fabricate structural steel and miscellaneous metal components
- Read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication details
- Fit and weld steel components
- Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, ironworkers, and drill presses
- Perform layout, measurement, and part verification
- Assist with installation and erection of fabricated components
- Work on installation of stairs, rails, embeds, and structural components
- Maintain quality standards and dimensional accuracy
- Follow shop and jobsite safety procedures
Requirements
- Experience in structural steel or miscellaneous metals fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Welding experience (MIG & Stick)
- Experience using common fabrication equipment and shop tools
- Ability to work in both shop and field environments
- Ability to lift steel materials and work in construction environments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.67 - $25.71 per hour
