Job Title: Print Service Rep
Department: Technical (Liquid)
Reports to: Technical Field Service Manager Location: Remote/Travel
FLSA Status: Exempt, Full-time Pay Band: Salary (exempt)
Position Summary:
The Printing Service Rep’s purpose is to provide high-quality technical support for use and application printing inks to our customers and support the sales reps for additional sales opportunities. This responsibility includes; training of blending of finished materials, inventory control, customer relations, and customer service. They will also be the liaison between artience Toyo Ink America locations and the customer.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
· Always maintain good supplier-customer relationships for all customers
· Troubleshoot and identify ink related issues in the customer pressrooms
· Provide technical support, including inspection results and detailed notes on adjustment activities
· Identify ink chemistries for specific system needs
· Support sales reps in the area for maintaining and obtaining new business
· Complete Visit and Trial Reports and submit within 48-hours
· Be able to design and conduct training at customer facility (communicating color, formula make up, press-side troubleshooting, etc.)
· Continuously monitor & improve work processes for increased efficiency
· Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment
· Comply with all TIA and Customer safety, waste, and chemical/hazardous materials handling practices
· Back-up for TIA customer in-plant operations and/or TIA branch operation locations when needed
· Complete other related duties as assigned by supervisor and/or customer

Essential Skills & Experience:
· High school degree or equivalent
· Five (5) plus years ink/printing experience
· Three (3) plus years of color matching experience
· Intermediate to advanced troubleshooting knowledge of print issues
· Demonstrated ability to work independently by being self-motivated, knowing how to prioritize work, and excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to interact with all levels of staff (production employees through upper management) in a professional, courteous manner.
· Reliable, dependable employee with good attendance
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide proficiently; this includes use and calculation of percentages, decimals, fractions, and whole numbers, and the understanding of unit conversions.
· Computer competency using office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email.
· Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly and concisely.
· Become fluent with company products and services.
· Adhere to all TIA and Customer Company policies & procedures.

Valued but not required skills & experience:
· College or Technical training
· HazMat Certified
· Shipping/Receiving experience.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
· Travel required (75-90%) to various customers and other Toyo locations.
· Ability to work with chemicals.
· Physical ability to lift and move material (up to 50 lbs.)
· Standing, walking, sitting for up to 10 hours per day
· Personal Protective Equipment required in production areas. This may include steel-toed shoes, earplugs, safety glasses with side shields, etc.
· Work extended days and/or weekends as needed.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
