Position Details
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Shifts: 8-hour shifts; M-F
- Hours: Facility hours are approximately 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Start times are staggered every 30 minutes between 7:00 AM–9:00 AM, based on patient schedules
- Weekends: No required weekends
- Holiday: Outpatient facilities are closed for the 7 major holidays
- On-Call: No on-call requirement
- Floating: Rare possibility of floating to one of the other outpatient locations
- Overtime: Optional OT
Pay
$39.70 – $59.50/hour
Pay is based on years of experience.
About the Role
Sarasota Memorial Hospital is seeking an Outpatient Rehab Physical Therapist to join its outpatient rehabilitation team. This position provides an opportunity to work one-on-one with patients while helping them restore function, improve mobility, and maximize their independence and quality of life.
Physical Therapists are responsible for evaluating patients, determining their level of functional need, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing and directing therapy programs to achieve meaningful functional outcomes.
Must-Haves
- Active Florida Physical Therapist license
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Bachelor's degree
- New graduates are welcome to apply — no specific years of experience required
- Strong interest in outpatient rehabilitation and patient-centered care
