Autism Behavioral Academy is a nonprofit private school dedicated to supporting students with autism and related educational needs. We are seeking a compassionate Teacher to support the Special Education Teacher in implementing curriculum requirements for a small classroom of 1–5 students.
Position Details
- Availability: Part-time and full-time positions available
- Part-time Schedule: Minimum 3–5 hour daily shifts
- Days: Monday–Friday
- Start Date: Immediate — training available now
Responsibilities
- Assist with curriculum delivery and classroom adaptations
- Provide individualized and small-group student support
- Support students with autism and related educational needs
- Reinforce behavior strategies and track student progress
- Help maintain a structured, positive classroom environment
Qualifications
- Valid teaching license required
- Experience working with children preferred
- Background in autism or behavioral support is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Patient, reliable, and team-oriented
