Overview
We are seeking an experienced and service-oriented Construction Superintendent/Project Manager to lead and oversee, from inception to completion, a six-month, 30,000 square foot office and warehouse tenant improvement project located in southeast Los Angeles County. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage all phases of construction, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards. The ideal candidate will have outstanding management skills, be a proactive problem-solver, embrace a collaborative work environment, and actively pursue providing exceptional customer service. You will be instrumental in coordinating teams, managing budgets, and maintaining safety and quality throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead the construction project in the field by planning, executing, and closing phases efficiently while adhering to the project schedule and demands.
- Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards.
- Coordinate with client representatives, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project flow.
- Implement and update the project schedule using MS Project; monitor progress regularly.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate implementation of design intent.
- Conduct quality control inspections using measurement and diagnostic tools to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
- Oversee safety protocols on-site, conduct safety meetings, and enforce OSHA compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, and milestones for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proven experience in on-site commercial construction management with a strong background in supervising medium to large-scale projects.
- Extensive knowledge of construction site operations, safety regulations (OSHA), and project scheduling.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore (or similar), Bluebeam, and other relevant platforms.
- Strong understanding of subcontracts, bidding processes, budgeting, and cost-control measures.
- Excellent management skills with a track record of leading diverse teams effectively.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
