American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a short-term acute care hospital in Oregon, requiring 2+ years of ED experience, Epic proficiency, and availability for block scheduling on night shifts.

Emergency Department (ED) unit

Patient ratio of 1:4

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Block scheduling is required
-
Weekends required as needed
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
No floating between units within this assignment

Charting system: Epic (experience required)

Scrubs are provided for ED staff (any color)

Active OR RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience

Epic EMR proficiency required
-
BLS certification required
-
At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within a comparable specialty or setting within the last 3 years

SSN and DOB required for consideration

Active professional license at time of consideration

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility

Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; scheduling requests should be communicated prior to submission
