We are a electronics recycling and IT asset management company looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented IT Hardware Technician to join our team in Cumming, GA.
The technician will be responsible for auditing, testing, grading, repairing, and processing IT equipment for resale or recycling. This position will also help supervise warehouse employees responsible for organizing, packaging, and palletizing equipment to ensure products are properly handled and their quality is maintained.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Audit, test, grade, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, LCDs, servers, HDDs, RAM, tablets, Chromebooks, projectors, networking equipment, and other electronics
- Perform secure data wiping and data destruction using approved processes
- Identify equipment suitable for resale, repair, parts, or recycling
- Perform basic repairs and upgrades when required
- Maintain accurate inventory and equipment records using inventory/ERP systems
- Supervise warehouse employees to ensure electronics are properly handled, stored, and packaged to prevent damage and maintain product quality
- Prepare equipment for resale, shipping, or recycling
- Create and manage online listings on eBay and other marketplaces when required
- Take product photos, write descriptions, research pricing, and help manage online orders
- Operate a forklift when required and qualified
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- 1+ year of experience working with computers, laptops, desktops, servers, or other IT hardware
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, testing, troubleshooting, and basic repairs
- Basic networking knowledge
- Experience with eBay selling is a big plus, including listings, pricing, and order management
- Experience with Amazon, Facebook Marketplace, Back Market, or similar platforms is a plus
- Familiarity with data wiping tools such as Blancco, DBAN, or similar software is preferred
- Comfortable using inventory software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable supervising and coordinating warehouse employees
- Dependable, punctual, hands-on, and able to multitask
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus but not required
$18–$22/hour depending on experience
Monday–Friday, Full-Time
Cumming, GA – local candidates from Cumming, Forsyth County, Suwanee, and surrounding areas are preferred.
