Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate GSRP Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles and the ability to engage with children in meaningful ways.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children's curiosity and creativity.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging social skills, independence, and self-esteem.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
- Maintain classroom organization, including managing supplies and materials effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Skills in special education or experience working with students who have diverse learning needs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR is highly desirable.
- A genuine love for teaching and nurturing young minds.
