Must be Hamburger University Graduate with McDonald's supervisor experience.

Yoon McDonald’s is an independently owned and operated McDonald’s franchise organization serving communities throughout Los Angeles County. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Area Supervisor to oversee multiple restaurant locations and support our continued growth.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows how to develop people, improve restaurant performance, and maintain high operational standards.
Position Overview
The Area Supervisor is responsible for the overall performance of an assigned group of McDonald’s restaurants. This position coaches General Managers, develops future leaders, and ensures each restaurant delivers excellent operations, hospitality, food safety, profitability, and employee engagement.
The ideal candidate is an experienced multi-unit restaurant leader who can identify opportunities, create clear action plans, hold teams accountable, and build strong relationships at every level of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations and performance of multiple McDonald’s restaurants.
- Coach, support, and hold General Managers accountable for restaurant results.
- Visit restaurants regularly during different days and dayparts, including evenings and weekends.
- Ensure restaurants meet McDonald’s standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, food safety, and hospitality.
- Review sales, guest counts, labor, food costs, cash flow, and other key performance results.
- Work with General Managers to create and follow effective action plans.
- Recruit, train, develop, and retain General Managers, Department Managers, and Shift Managers.
- Build a strong pipeline of qualified leaders to support organizational growth.
- Ensure proper staffing and management coverage at each restaurant.
- Support new restaurant openings, leadership transitions, and special projects.
- Conduct operational visits and provide timely, specific coaching.
- Respond to urgent restaurant needs and operational emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable federal, state, and local employment and safety requirements.
- Promote a respectful, professional, and accountable workplace.
- Partner with ownership and senior leadership to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of successful multi-unit restaurant leadership experience preferred.
- McDonald’s operations and leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Proven experience coaching General Managers and improving restaurant performance.
- Strong understanding of restaurant financial statements, labor management, food costs, and profitability.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, workplace safety, and operational compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage several priorities and follow through on commitments.
- Ability to provide direct feedback while maintaining positive working relationships.
- Comfortable using restaurant technology, reporting systems, email, and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel regularly between Los Angeles County restaurant locations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or advanced restaurant leadership training preferred.

Physical and Scheduling Requirements
This position requires frequent travel between restaurant locations. The Area Supervisor must be able to stand and walk throughout restaurant visits, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and work in an active restaurant environment. Availability outside normal business hours may be required when urgent operational needs arise.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
