We are seeking an experienced Water Treatment Technician to join our team. As a Water Treatment Technician, you will be responsible for helping to maintain water treatment equipment and ensuring all systems are in good working order. You will also be working closely with clients to help ensure their satisfaction with our products and comprehensive services. This position is based in Imperial, CA. The position involves travel to and from client sites throughout Southern California, as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Assist account managers with tasks on account needs, including chemical transfers, deliveries and service
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and resolve any issues that arise
- Water treatment equipment and plumbing installations and repairs
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of water treatment equipment
- Water treatment, analysis and report preparation
- Lifting or moving of chemical drums and pails, as required to transfer to onsite chemical tanks
- Complying with all Hydrovida health and safety protocols for contract work and chemical handling
- General equipment and chemistry sales, new account sales
- Warehouse organization, forklift operation as required for deliveries and moving product
- Travel to sites in Southern California, as required
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and OneDrive
- Experience in sales or account management is a plus
- Experience with plumbing strongly preferred
- Experience with water treatment practices and principles a large plus
