Duties
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments using dental terminology and medical records to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize dental imaging technology and anatomical knowledge to diagnose oral health issues accurately.
- Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment during all procedures.
- Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Document all treatments meticulously in medical documentation systems such as Open Dental, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term oral health.
- Manage medical records securely while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry to provide cutting-edge care.
Qualifications
- Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy related to oral health.
- Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
- Skilled in patient care and patient assessment with excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and sterilization techniques essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment.
- Ability to work efficiently within a team using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles is a plus but not mandatory.
Pay: $200,000.00 - $290,000.00 per year
