This position focuses on supporting and eventually leading play-based enrichment groups for children of varying ages. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and highly interactive, requiring flexibility, initiative, and strong engagement skills.

Role Structure & Growth Path
Phase 1: Group Assistant / Operations Support

Responsibilities
Group-Based Responsibilities:

Support and/or lead play-based enrichment groups
-
Engage children in developmentally appropriate activities
-
Assist with behavior support and transitions
-
Maintain a positive, structured group environment
Operational Responsibilities:
-
Client check-in/check-out and payment support
-
Ensure paperwork and scheduling are up to date
-
Daily cleaning and resetting of space (toys, equipment, surfaces)

Organizing materials and supplies
-
Assisting therapists as needed
-
Preparing activities and materials for groups

General administrative support
Compensation
-
Hourly range: $17–$30/hour, depending on role, experience, and level of responsibility
Typical structure includes:

$20–$22/hour – Group Assistant / operational support
-
$23–$25/hour – Group Facilitator (independently leading groups)

Higher earning potential available as responsibilities expand into program coordination and leadership
Typical days may include a mix of responsibilities across roles, with opportunity for increased compensation as independence and ownership grow.
Qualifications

Experience working with children (education, ABA, childcare, camps, etc.)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable with active, play-based work (sitting on floor, moving, engaging)

Reliable, organized, and proactive

Interest in child development, therapy, or pediatric settings preferred
Preferred Backgrounds

RBT, paraprofessional, teacher, aide, or similar roles
-
Students or graduates in psychology, education, speech therapy, OT, or related fields
