Prestigious Aviation Company Now Hiring – NDT Level II Technician

Overall Objectives:
The NDT Level II Technician is responsible for performing inspections utilizing various non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques in FPI, MPI in accordance with Med-Craft, Inc, NDT standards, and customer specifications.
Responsibilities:
The following is just an outline, and in no way limits other non-mentioned responsibilities from being added:
- Will ensure a strict NDT facility and inspection process.
- Prepare and verify work instructions for NDT methods to be in compliance with customer specifications and requirements.
- Analyzes and interpret inspection quality data, conduct research on product defects, and recommend modification in products or quality standards, where such appear to be warranted.
- Ensure compliance with customer, industry, and government regulations as pertaining to the inspection departments, including the ability to interpret codes standards and other contractual documents.
- Assist Responsible Level III as required and directed in all aspects of the NDT inspection program.
- Have extensive knowledge of NDT methods and their respective knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
Required Qualifications include:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years related experience in NDT Level II
- Experience with MIL-SPEC, MIL-STD, ASNT, and NAS
- Magnetic Particle Certification from a qualified institution
- Liquid Penetrant Certification from a qualified institution
- Proof of OJT hours or previous Level II certs
- Must meet vision and color perception requirements
- Have the skills and knowledge to carry out the necessary preparation of parts before and after an inspection in accordance with approved work instruction
