The Warehouse Lead is responsible for managing all incoming inventory and maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. This role ensures that products move smoothly from delivery to sales floor and online fulfillment, while supporting merchandising, displays, and operational accuracy.
The Warehouse Coordinator plays a vital role in protecting inventory investment, supporting staff efficiency, and maintaining the visual standards of Fantasy Island Toys.
Primary Responsibilities
Inventory Receiving & Processing
- Serve as the primary owner of all incoming inventory
- Receive, inspect, and verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
- Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages
- Label, sort, and stage inventory for:
- Sales floor
- Back-stock storage
- Online fulfillment
- Ensure inventory is processed promptly to support sales and availability
Purchase Orders & Product Entry
- Enter new products into inventory systems to support operations
- Create and maintain accurate purchase orders
- Ensure costs, quantities, and vendor details are entered correctly
- Support inventory accuracy across POS and e-commerce systems
- Flag pricing, margin, or data issues as they arise
Warehouse Organization & Safety
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse
- Establish and follow storage systems that maximize space and accessibility
- Address and report safety concerns immediately
- Ensure proper handling of inventory to prevent damage
- Maintain clear walkways, labeled zones, and safe stacking practices
Merchandising & Display Support
- Maintain and organize all window and display décor areas
- Assist with in-store merchandising as needed
- Support seasonal resets, promotions, and visual changes
- Store, organize, and track display materials and décor
- Help ensure the sales floor remains stocked and visually appealing
Operational Support
- Coordinate with store leadership and staff to meet inventory needs
- Support e-commerce fulfillment by ensuring product availability
- Assist with inventory counts, transfers, and audits
- Help identify process improvements to increase efficiency
- Support peak seasons with increased receiving and setup needs
Team & Communication
- Communicate clearly with owners, store managers, and team members
- Work collaboratively to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for inventory-related questions
- Maintain professionalism and accountability in all tasks

Pay: $9.10 - $16.00 per hour
