We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members in culinary skills, customer service, and food safety practices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, address inquiries, and handle complaints effectively.
- Implement upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
- Collaborate with management to develop promotional strategies that attract customers and increase sales.
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to foster a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a leadership role within a quick-service or fast-food restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
- Proven ability to lead a team, manage conflicts, and motivate staff towards achieving operational goals.
- Familiarity with sales strategies and upselling techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of operations.
