We are a small, well established artisan jewelry company based in Oakland, California. For over 20 years, we have designed and sold handcrafted jewelry through specialty retailers across the United States. We are looking for an organized and friendly Office Manager to help support our daily operations and customer service.
We are looking to hire a part-time office manager for four days a week, Monday through Thursday, 6 hours a day, (24 hours a week), 10am to 4pm.
We offer a friendly and comfortable work environment in a loft located in West Oakland.
-Answering phones and providing information about billing, delivery times of orders, guiding customers through use of our website, assisting customers with payment processing and order related inquiries, being familiar with our product and relaying that information to our customers, and drafting clear concise emails.
-Inputting data into our QuickBooks program with a high level of accuracy.
-Shipping out orders & fulfilling orders from our inventory.
-Processing daily credit card deposits.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a small business environment, is comfortable wearing multiple hats, and takes pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly.
-We are looking for a person who has had at least 5 years of office experience with extensive experience in QuickBooks.
-Proficiency in MicrosoftWord and Excel programs.
-Friendly, professional, with well spoken telephone communication skills.
-Focused and well organized.
-Close attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
-Packing and organizing orders on the shelves.
-Excellent communication skills are necessary, you must be comfortable in talking with customers, reps and suppliers on the phone.
-Using Flodesk to send out promotional emails for product launches and updates.
-Using Shopify (to input orders and adjust inventory)
$ 30.00 an hour (no health insurance or benefits included).
