Massachusetts TC Clinical Group is seeking dependable and compassionate Recovery Specialists (RS) to support clients in a structured substance use treatment setting. RS staff play a critical role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment for residents across all shifts. Responsibilities include medication observation, hourly rounds, group facilitation/support, accurate documentation, and assisting clients with daily routines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hourly rounds and maintain safety throughout the facility
- Log and reconcile medications during assigned observation times
- Alert residents of medication and group times
- Monitor and assist residents during meals and appointments
- Enter progress notes and shift reports into KIPU EHR system
- Facilitate or support recovery-based group activities
- Stock and organize kitchen and program supplies
- Assist with new client intakes and orientation
- Maintain cleanliness and conduct environmental rounds
- Update census and appointment board in RS office
- Communicate effectively with clinical and medical staff
- Support resident compliance with program rules and structure
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
- Maintain facility safety and monitor client needs overnight
- Perform cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces)
- Complete laundry (weekend overnights only)
- Brew morning coffee and assist in preparing for morning shift
- Ensure residents remain in their rooms and maintain quiet hours
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in recovery, behavioral health, or human services preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and organized under pressure
- Comfortable with shift-based work, including nights and weekends
- Familiarity with KIPU or similar EHR system a plus
