Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and brake repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Work on complex systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and diesel engines with precision and expertise.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools safely and effectively during repairs.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot issues efficiently on various vehicle makes and models.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the quality of work performed.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive systems including electrical systems, powertrain components, and heavy equipment mechanics.
- Expertise in automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and troubleshooting complex mechanical issues.
- Skilled in transmission repair, automotive suspension system repair, wheel alignment, and shocks & struts replacement.
- Experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; familiarity with diesel mechanics is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with strong customer service skills to deliver top-tier automotive service.
