Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team at Tru By Hilton. As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within our hotel. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest supplies as needed.
- Conduct thorough inspections of rooms to ensure they meet quality standards before guests check in.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team promptly.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with floor care tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces as required.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning or housekeeping management is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and effectively.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with custodial duties and floor care techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be physically capable of performing cleaning duties that require standing, bending, lifting, and moving furniture or equipment.
