Position Overview
The Oilfield CDL Driver will safely operate assigned trucks and equipment across active oilfield,
construction, production, water, hauling, and jobsite locations. Depending on experience, endorsements,
training, and company needs, drivers may operate or support belly dump, flatbed, vacuum truck, water hauling, hydrovac, or related field-service work.
The right driver understands that productivity is not simply driving faster. It means being prepared, following dispatch instructions, taking efficient legal routes, minimizing avoidable downtime, communicating delays early, protecting the truck, completing paperwork correctly, and finishing assignments safely and professionally.
Performance and Productivity Opportunity
Torres Trucking intends to distinguish itself by creating an opportunity for high-performing drivers to be recognized for measurable contribution. Qualified drivers may be eligible for a productivity-based bonus program tied to clearly communicated company standards and the economics of the work.
Depending on the final program and assignment, productivity may consider factors such as:

on-time readiness and dependable attendance;
efficient use of scheduled time without avoidable delays;
accurate tickets, logs, and supporting documentation;
clear communication with dispatch and supervisors;
care of equipment and prompt reporting of maintenance concerns;
customer feedback, professionalism, and repeat-service confidence.
Any bonus plan will be governed by written program terms, customer demand, available work, safety and compliance requirements, and company performance. No bonus is earned through unsafe conduct, falsified records, unauthorized work, or hours that violate applicable law or company policy.

Tank work, cleanup support, disposal, production, or related field work Key Responsibilities
Safely operate assigned commercial vehicles and equipment in accordance with company policy,
customer rules, DOT requirements, and applicable federal and state law.
Complete assigned loads, field-service jobs, water movements, equipment deliveries, or hauling work safely and efficiently.
Report ready for work on time with required PPE, credentials, documentation, and a field-ready mindset.
Communicate clearly with dispatch regarding job status, arrival, completion, delays, route issues, location changes, and customer needs.
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects, damage, maintenance needs, or safety concerns immediately.
Protect assigned trucks, trailers, pumps, tanks, tools, hoses, and related equipment.
Follow customer-site traffic plans, PPE requirements, loading and unloading procedures, supervisor direction, and stop-work expectations.
Complete tickets, ELD entries, logs, DVIRs, receipts, and customer documentation accurately and on time.
Use legal and efficient routes and avoid unnecessary idle time or preventable delays.
Maintain a clean, professional, and field-ready truck and work area.
Treat customers, supervisors, dispatchers, coworkers, and other drivers with professionalism and respect.
Support cross-training on additional equipment or service lines when qualified and when business needs require it.
Represent Torres Trucking with integrity, urgency, personal responsibility, and a commitment to
customer service.
Required Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license required; Class A CDL strongly preferred and may be required
depending on equipment assignment.
Tanker endorsement preferred and may be required for vacuum truck, water hauling, or related work.
Current medical certification and ability to meet all applicable driver qualification requirements.
Oilfield, construction, heavy hauling, fluid hauling, or field-service experience preferred.
Experience with belly dump, flatbed, vacuum truck, water hauling, or hydrovac equipment strongly preferred.
Acceptable motor vehicle record and a demonstrated commitment to safe driving.
Must satisfy required pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements, background screening, and company hiring standards.
Ability to use an ELD and complete required electronic or paper documentation accurately.
Ability to work outdoors and in demanding weather, road, and field conditions.
Ability to lift, climb, connect hoses, secure loads, inspect equipment, and perform the physical duties of the assigned role.
Dependable transportation to the reporting location or assigned work area.
Willingness to work changing oilfield schedules while remaining within applicable hours-of-service and fatigue-management requirements.
Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful but not required. Who Will Succeed in This Role
