As a Mail Inserter Operator, you'll play a vital role in supporting various operational functions—making sure deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to produce efficient, accurate mail output while emphasizing safety, attention to detail, and teamwork. Your daily responsibilities will include operating high-volume mailing machines, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and assisting with additional production support tasks as needed.
What You'll Do
As a Mail Inserter Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Verifying order information and ensuring printed materials match customer specifications
- Operating mailing and inserting equipment efficiently to meet production goals
- Troubleshooting basic mechanical and printing issues to keep production running smoothly
- Setting up machines and handling product changeovers quickly and accurately
- Prioritizing tasks based on deadlines and production needs
- Maintaining logs of equipment performance and reporting any downtime or issues
- Keeping workspaces clean, organized, and safe
- Supporting handwork, scanning, warehouse, and office projects as needed
