Location: Private Members Club – Downtown Cleveland
Position Type: Part-Time
Compensation: $20 per hour, with credit card tips paid weekly
Position Overview
· Provide refined, personalized food and beverage service within an exclusive private club environment, ensuring each member experience is seamless and memorable.
· Through attentive service, precision, and thoughtful member recognition, uphold the club’s highest standards of excellence, professionalism, and hospitality.
· Schedule & Availability
o Part-time hours with flexible scheduling
o Availability required for days, evenings, and weekends based on club needs
o Must be available during peak dining periods and special events
Key Responsibilities
· Member Experience & Service
o Greet members and guests by name, fostering a warm and welcoming environment
o Anticipate member preferences and deliver attentive, discreet service
o Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu offerings, daily features, and beverages
· Order Management & Service Execution
o Accurately take and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
o Demonstrate strong knowledge of menus, ingredients, and preparation methods
o Coordinate with culinary team to ensure quality and presentation standards are met
· Dining Room Presentation
o Maintain pristine dining areas through prompt clearing, cleaning, and resetting of tables
o Ensure all table settings and service standards reflect a high-end dining atmosphere
· POS & Member Billing
o Process orders and member charges accurately using club POS systems
o Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all billing transactions
· Side Work & Operational Support
o Complete opening and closing duties, including stocking service stations and preparing dining areas
o Assist with buffet setups, private events, and banquet service as needed
· Beverage & Alcohol Service
o Serve wine, beer, and cocktails in accordance with proper service standards
o Demonstrate knowledge of wine service and pairing when appropriate
o Adhere to all local and state alcohol service regulations
Qualifications & Attributes
· Previous experience in fine dining, private clubs, or upscale hospitality environments preferred
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Polished appearance with adherence to grooming and uniform standards
· Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
· Service & Hospitality-oriented mindset with a professional demeanor
· Physical Requirements
o Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
o Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling trays and service items (up to 40 lbs)
