Duties
- Greet members warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Menu knowledge expert recommendations on wine, spirits, cocktails, and menu items to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques.
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Jonas, processing transactions efficiently and correctly.
- Manage multiple tables effectively by prioritizing tasks, maintaining timely service, and supporting guest needs throughout their visit.
- Handle member account transactions accurately, process sales using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including proper food handling and beverage preparation.
- Keeps dining room and bus station areas clean.
- Clears, cleans and resets tables that have been vacated.
- Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.
- Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager.
- Attends pre-meal meetings as requested by the Dining Room Captain; Dining Room Supervisor; Dining Room Manager; or Outlet Manager.
- Thanks members and guests; invites them to return.
- Adhere to the club's employment handbook policies.
- Consistently follows local and state laws and the club’s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests.
- Serv Safe & TIPS certification required.
Experience
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques.
- Proven ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining excellent customer relations.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Jonas, for order processing and sales transactions.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence.
- Ability to manage time efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and basic math for accurate check handling.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch
and twist or reach.
- Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
- Continuous repetitive motions.
- Work in hot, humid and noisy environment

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 32.0 per week
