Senior Software Engineer - Earner (Multiple Teams)

Our Teams
- Earner Guidance: Our mission is to improve Earner retention by helping them achieve desired earnings outcomes through informed, data-backed positioning decisions. You will build products that help Earners plan and optimize their time while maintaining a reliable marketplace.
- Offer Experience: This team focuses on developing innovative, scalable solutions that maximize earning potential. We build personalized offer experiences, incentives, and promotions that align with individual preferences and driving habits. From seamless interfaces to robust backend systems, we work on projects that drive real-world impact for millions.
- Earner Life Cycle (ELC): The ELC team builds the foundational backend systems powering onboarding, activation, and early-success workflows. Our services handle identity, compliance, and configuration at a global scale. You will directly impact how quickly new Earners reach "first value" and ensure reliability during their most critical lifecycle moments.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Build highly scalable and high-quality product features that our Drivers use every day.
- Write elegant, maintainable, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Data, Design, Product) and cross-team for problem-solving and product development.
- Lead data-driven architecture and systems design.
- Build reliable alerting and monitoring for the products you build.
Provide technical leadership to more junior engineers on the team.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Golang, or similar languages.
- Experience working collaboratively and leading cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of shipping high-quality products at scale.
- Willingness to take ownership of products, including operations, maintenance, and reliability.
Experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers.

- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience working on cross-team initiatives.
- Experience with micro-service architecture .
- Self-driven to identify opportunities to make systems better and more efficient.
- Ability to transform high-level business problems into elegant technical solutions.
