American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PACU position requiring ICU experience, Cerner proficiency, and prior travel nursing experience.

Post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) setting within a hospital environment
-
Patient population includes pediatric and adult patients across Phase I, Phase II recovery, and pre/post-op care
-
ICU patient care also included given float requirements
-
Rotating Day/Mid shift schedule with shift times of 8:00–16:30 and 11:00–19:30 (5x8 hours)
-
On-call required approximately 5–6 times per six-week period during day and evening hours
-
Float coverage to the ICU is required
-
2 weekends of work required per 6-week period
-
Cerner EMR experience required
-
Active MD or Compact RN license required
-
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
-
ICU nursing experience required
-
Pediatric PACU, Phase I, Phase II recovery, and pre/post-op experience required

Cerner EMR experience required

Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum score of 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms prior to clearance

At least one prior completed travel assignment required

2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Scrubs are provided by the facility

Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are accepted

First-time travelers are not eligible for this position — at least one completed travel assignment is required
