Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and behavioral psychological assessments to identify client needs and develop effective intervention strategies
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to track progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
- Provide clinical supervision and training to behavior technicians and other team members to ensure fidelity of interventions
- Perform patient assessments, including intake evaluations and diagnostic evaluations for clients with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions
- Collaborate with families, schools, medical professionals, and caregivers to coordinate care plans and ensure consistency across environments
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing sensitive client information
- Support clients in home-based settings as well as in school environments, utilizing behavioral health techniques tailored to each individual’s needs
- Communicate effectively with clients’ families regarding progress updates, treatment goals, and behavioral health strategies
Experience
- Proven experience working with children with disabilities, especially those with autism spectrum disorder or other neurodevelopmental disorders
- Strong background in applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy, functional assessment, and behavioral intervention techniques
- Experience conducting behavioral health assessments such as functional behavior assessments (FBA) and diagnostic evaluations
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and medical records management in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
- Prior experience working in home-based behavioral programs or school settings is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical supervision or training to behavior technicians or other staff members
- Knowledge of medical records management and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Must have active BCBA certification
- Must have active LBA (Nevada License)
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
