Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly and positive attitude, providing a warm welcome upon arrival
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about the restaurant and wait times
- Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area to enhance guest comfort and safety
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of service
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback with courteous communication and problem-solving skills
- Uphold food safety standards and restaurant policies to ensure a safe environment for all guests and staff
Experience
- Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Experience in guest relations, hotel or hospitality settings is a plus
- Knowledge of phone etiquette, organizational skills, and food safety protocols is highly valued
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
