Accounts Payable Specialist
San Jose, CA (onsite)
$35-40/hr
Are you a high-volume accounts payable professional with construction industry experience? Do you have an upbeat and positive attitude with a strong attention to detail? We are looking for an accounts payable individual for a new job opportunity in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of accounts payable experience, good excel skills, and have a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume invoice processing with a strong focus on three-way match (invoice, PO, and receipt)
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and accounting teams to resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain organized and up-to-date AP documentation and records
- Support month-end close activities related to accounts payable
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounts payable within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong working knowledge of three-way match processes
- Construction industry experience is a plus
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
