Compensation: $16.50 an hour
Job Description
To ensure the safety and well-being of each child by responding to their emotional, social and physical needs. To be a positive role model for all staff, parents and children.
Duties:
- Share Christ’s love with the children in a nurturing, safe, fun environment
- Engage children in activities and stimulating play
- Manage classroom with positive feedback, encouragement, and re-direction
- Teach provided bible lesson and assist children with craft
- Supervise snack and playground time
- Assist children with restroom use, hand washing, diaper changing
- Professionally communicate with parents
- Maintain a clean, organized environment
- Be punctual and have minimal absences
Qualifications
- A Christian who loves Jesus and desires to serve Him at all times
- Have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, able to relate well with children
- Clear Live Scan and Criminal Background
- Willing to complete Mandated Reporting Training
- Be mentally and physically capable of caring for a group of children
