Position Overview
Franklin Sensors Inc is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packaging Assistant to support daily packaging and order preparation operations. This role is responsible for packing products, preparing shipments, labeling materials, and helping maintain organized inventory and work areas.
Responsibilities
- Package products carefully and efficiently for shipment
- Label boxes, packages, and shipping materials accurately
- Inspect products for quality and packaging accuracy
- Prepare outgoing orders according to shipping guidelines
- Organize packaging supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Assist with sorting and staging outgoing shipments
- Maintain clean and organized workstations
- Follow company safety procedures and packaging standards
- Support warehouse and fulfillment teams with daily tasks
- Report damaged items or inventory discrepancies when necessary
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 40 lbs
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude
- Basic communication and teamwork skills
- Previous packaging or warehouse experience is a plus but not required
Pay: $22.45 - $24.70 per hour
