Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trim and Grow Technician to join our dynamic Cannabis horticultural team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining healthy and vibrant plants through precise trimming, pruning, and cultivation practices. Your expertise will help optimize crop production, ensure plant health, and support sustainable growth in indoor environments. Responsibilities
- Perform precise trimming, pruning, and shaping of plants to promote healthy growth and optimal crop yields
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper water delivery tailored to specific plant needs
- Monitor and control pests using integrated pest management techniques, ensuring minimal chemical use while maintaining plant health
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all cultivation activities to maintain consistency and quality standards
- Assist in setting up and maintaining cultivation environments, including environmental controls and irrigation management
- Trimming and harvesting of plants in anticipation of wholesale sales
- Collaborate with horticultural teams to execute crop production plans efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
Requirements
- This is an entry level position. Must be 21 years old
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle indoor work in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to Cannabis production and plant care
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to manage horticultural teams effectively
- Cannabis experience or similar work experience is preferred but not necessary
