Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent
- Valid state license to practice as an X-ray technologist, if required
- Proven experience operating X-ray and imaging equipment in a clinical or hospital environment
- Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, safety, and patient positioning
- Ability to accurately document results and maintain electronic health records
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray exams with precision and attention to patient safety protocols
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to standard procedures and safety regulations
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure high-quality images are produced for diagnostic interpretation
- Adhere to department guidelines for infection control, privacy, and documentation
- Assist with transporting patients, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining clean workspaces
- Participate in quality assurance activities and continue professional development
