GENERAL SUMMARY
North Florida Reproductive Medicine is looking for a qualified medical biller to join our team of board certified physicians and medical staff.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Processes and reviews reports within the billing system to research information required to complete the patient collection process.
- Reviews patient balances to ensure they are accurate.
- Correct claims and resubmit as necessary.
- Handles phone inquiries from patients regarding balances.
- Answers questions from check out regarding patient copays, deductibles and outstanding balances.
- Meet with patient face-to-face when patient is in office
- Confirm and verify patient insurance coverage and benefits.
- Any other duties as assigned.
