Production Shift Supervisor – Food Manufacturing
Location: Severn, MD
Shift: 2-2-3 schedule
Pay: $90,000–$115,000 + Bonus & Benefits
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Production Shift Supervisor to lead operations within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong production, quality, and team management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead production team members during shift operations
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved
- Minimize downtime, waste, and operational inefficiencies
- Promote GMP, HACCP, food safety, and housekeeping standards
- Support training and development of production employees
- Coordinate line clearances, cleaning checks, and shift handovers
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production lines
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
- Lead by example with “clean as you go” manufacturing practices
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience within food manufacturing
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations
- Experience managing production teams in a high-speed environment
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability preferred
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Associate degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required
